Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and how it's protected.
Last updated: September 3, 2026
Personal Information We Collect
We collect personal information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you, depending on how you interact with our website. This may include:
- Contact details — your name, email address, and phone number.
- Vehicle information — make, model, year, and vehicle type submitted through a quote or booking form.
- Service details — the package or service you're interested in and any details you provide about your request.
- Communications — anything you include when messaging us, such as through a contact form or by email or phone.
- Booking information — appointment date/time and related scheduling details if you book through our online calendar.
- Device and usage information — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you navigate and interact with our site, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
We do not process payment card information on this website. If a deposit or payment is ever required to confirm a booking, that payment is collected directly by our scheduling provider (Acuity Scheduling) or in person — never stored or processed by us directly.
Where This Information Comes From
- Directly from you — when you submit a contact, quote, or booking form, or otherwise message us.
- Automatically — through cookies and similar technologies when you browse our website.
- From our service providers — such as our form processor and scheduling platform, when they collect information on our behalf.
- From advertising partners — such as Google and Meta, when you interact with an ad we've run and are directed to our site.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide our services — respond to quote requests, schedule and confirm bookings, and follow up on appointments.
- To communicate with you — appointment reminders, care instructions, and answers to your questions.
- For marketing and advertising — with your consent where required, we may send promotional messages, and use tools like Google Ads and Meta Ads to show relevant ads and measure how well our campaigns perform.
- To improve our website — understanding which pages and services visitors are interested in so we can make the site more useful.
- For security and fraud prevention — protecting our website and business from spam, abuse, or fraudulent form submissions.
- For legal reasons — to comply with applicable law or respond to a valid legal request.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own, independent marketing purposes.
Cookies, Analytics & Advertising Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate our website, understand how it's used, and measure our advertising:
- Google Analytics — helps us understand site traffic and visitor behaviour.
- Google Ads — helps us measure and improve the performance of our ad campaigns, and may use conversion tracking and remarketing to show you our ads elsewhere on the web.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) — helps us measure ad performance and may use your activity on our site to show relevant ads on Meta platforms.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time, though some site features may not work as intended if you do. To opt out of personalized advertising specifically, you can visit Google Ads Settings, Meta Ad Preferences, or the industry opt-out page at youradchoices.ca.
How We Disclose Your Information
We share information with a small number of trusted service providers who help us operate our website and business, each governed by their own privacy policy:
- Web3Forms — processes and delivers messages submitted through our contact and quote forms.
- Acuity Scheduling — powers our online booking calendar and may collect information directly from you, including payment details if a deposit is required.
- Google (Analytics & Ads) — provides site analytics and advertising measurement.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — provides advertising measurement for ads you may see on those platforms.
- Our website hosting and content delivery provider — stores and serves our website's files and may log basic technical/connection data as part of standard web hosting.
We may also disclose information where required to comply with the law, respond to a valid legal request, or protect the rights, property, or safety of our business, our customers, or others.
Third-Party Websites & Links
Our website may link to third-party sites we don't control — including our Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok pages, our Google Business Profile, and our online booking calendar. If you follow a link to a site not operated by us, we encourage you to review that site's own privacy policy. We aren't responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party sites.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below and we'll delete it.
Data Security & Retention
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, provide the service you've requested, maintain our business records, and meet our legal obligations — after which it is deleted or de-identified.
Your Privacy Rights & Choices
Under Canada's private-sector privacy law (PIPEDA), you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
- Withdraw consent to our collection or use of your information at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
- Request deletion of personal information we no longer need to retain.
If we ever send you marketing emails or texts, every message includes a way to opt out — in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), we won't send further marketing messages once you do, though we may still contact you about an active booking or request you've made. You can also opt out of targeted advertising cookies at any time using the tools listed in the Cookies section above.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
International Data Transfers
Some of the service providers we use — including our analytics, advertising, and hosting providers — may store or process information on servers located outside of Canada, including in the United States. Where this happens, that information is subject to the laws of the country it's processed in, and we work with providers who maintain appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.
Complaints
If you have concerns about how we handle your personal information, please contact us directly first using the details below so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. The version posted on this page is always the current one, and we'll update the "Last updated" date whenever it changes.
